department within Dietrich Metal Framing, the
Technical Support Division is newly incorporated as the
Dietrich Design Group. Today, DDG operates as an
independent professional services company that provides
the finest technical support services available for
general and specific building conditions requiring studs,
joists and light gage trusses. |

With a staff of full time
engineers and technical support personal, supplemented
with long term consultant relationships, DDG is
licensed and certified with professional seals in all 50
states. The Design Group can supply shop
drawings for fabrication and erection of wall, floor,
roof and truss panels for projects built anywhere in the
world.
DDG technical consultants man a Technical Support Hotline
that responds to over 25,000 calls per year. This service
provides immediate response to general questions,
specification interpretation, catalog review and
development of non-standard product information… all
in support of Dietrich’s full line of metal framing
products. |
The Design Group also provides customer
support through preliminary project sizing from
supplied construction drawings’, faxed sections and
specifications. This preliminary design service provides
the critical information that aids in securing the
project during the bidding process.

Sealed shop drawings are also available for more
complex projects or where required. These include
elevations, floor plans, roof layouts, panel drawings and
professional engineer certification. Prices are quoted
before work begins.DDG also provides technical
recommendations for specific projects that include member
sizing and connection details.
Customers may also receive full size shop drawings which include wall
and roof sections, connection details and calculations.
